Welcome to my campaign website. I have been honored to serve as your State Representative since 2013 and I am looking for your support and trust to continue to provide leadership in Harrisburg.
Since I first took office, I have authored legislation to improve women's health, Act 3 of 2014, to protect victims of domestic violence, Act 111 of 2016, and to extend protections to individuals with mental or physical disabilities, House Bill 1528 of 2017-18. Besides these legislative accomplishments, I continue to work to prevent drug abuse with the installation of 24 drug take back boxes throughout Chester County.
While I am proud of my work in Harrisburg and back in the district, there is still work that needs to be done.
When I first took office five years ago, I promised to work to the best of my ability and that I would not be a career politician. To that end, I have co-sponsored and voted in favor of a constitutional amendment to reduce the size of Pennsylvania's General Assembly in every Session that I have been in Harrisburg.
As a pharmaceutical chemist, I know first hand how devastating the opioid epidemic is to our families and community. I am spearheading this issue in Harrisburg by exploring every avenue available to us. Recently, I hosted a Policy Committee Hearing in East Brandywine to hear from the women and men on the front line, our police officers and first responders, therapists and treatment facilities, and recovering addicts. Legislation alone will not resolve this epidemic without understanding all of the facets.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or comments. I look forward to talking to as many residents of the 155th Legislative District as I continue to go door to door.
I hope I can count on your support.
